RevenuePilot Success!

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about how RevenuePilot works. I did this because of some stats I saw in my 103Bees report. Since then, I have seen an increase in organic hits coming from Google. More importantly, I now have three times as many affiliates signed up. I will have to try this with other affiliate programs to see if I have the same success.

DigitalPoint Forums is three years old… And why you should be posting

Sunday, March 4th, 2007

Shoemoney has reported that DigitalPoint’s forums have turned 3 years old today. On the post, he shows an Alexa ranking graph of DigitalPoint’s progress — it is amazing to say the least. It has to be one of the most popular revenue sharing forums out there (you can insert your Adsense code and it will display 50% of the time for threads you start).

DigitalPoint, in its three year reign, has almost 250,000 threads with over 2.4 million posts and over 60,000 members — that is almost 10 posts per thread. Because of this immense amount of hits DigitalPoint receives, there is a large traffic potential for your site or blog. Shoemoney himself said that when he started the blog, 95% of his traffic came from DigitalPoint and it still accounts for 5% today. I myself receive a steady flow of traffic from DigitalPoint.

How can you get traffic from DigitalPoint?

  1. Put a link to your site or blog in your signature and maybe a brief overview of it.
  2. You can also insert your RSS feed and your most recent blog title (with a link) will display next to your name.
  3. Start posting. Make sure your posts are relevant to the topic. If you are starting your own thread, use the search function to make sure the question has not already been answered. There are 250,000 threads to look at, after all.

My last post

Thursday, March 1st, 2007

For those of you that were a little mystified by why I would be explaining how RevenuePilot, a PPC that is just about the same as the next, works in my last post, let me explain.

A little while ago I found a post on Problogger about 103Bees. I honestly kind of forgot about it for a while. The other day however, I was looking through my Bookmarks and saw 103Bees in there. So I decided to take a look at my stats and found that the most common question being asked on search engines referring to my site was “how revenuepilot works.”

The idea behind the post I made is that the post would better match that search and my post will now be ranked higher up in search engines.
