Shoemoney has reported that DigitalPoint’s forums have turned 3 years old today. On the post, he shows an Alexa ranking graph of DigitalPoint’s progress — it is amazing to say the least. It has to be one of the most popular revenue sharing forums out there (you can insert your Adsense code and it will display 50% of the time for threads you start).

DigitalPoint, in its three year reign, has almost 250,000 threads with over 2.4 million posts and over 60,000 members — that is almost 10 posts per thread. Because of this immense amount of hits DigitalPoint receives, there is a large traffic potential for your site or blog. Shoemoney himself said that when he started the blog, 95% of his traffic came from DigitalPoint and it still accounts for 5% today. I myself receive a steady flow of traffic from DigitalPoint.

How can you get traffic from DigitalPoint?

  1. Put a link to your site or blog in your signature and maybe a brief overview of it.
  2. You can also insert your RSS feed and your most recent blog title (with a link) will display next to your name.
  3. Start posting. Make sure your posts are relevant to the topic. If you are starting your own thread, use the search function to make sure the question has not already been answered. There are 250,000 threads to look at, after all.
