I am going to be out for a few days while I stay with a good friend in beautiful Santa Barbara. Thus, I won’t be posting here… or doing much of anything online.
The new site is coming along great. I have almost all of the coding and designing done. I will probably start writing content when I return. I could probably launch it before my originally planned June 15th date. We’ll see. I want to do everything right with this one. I am even going to do some research and see what some of the pros say about when a site is “ready to launch.”
Later!

I am currently working on a website with the purpose of making money. The niche will be something I am very interested in so I will most likely enjoy updating it. This, of course, is very important if you intend to commit a lot of time to a project. For instance, you probably do not need to be in love with ringtones to be making money off of them through affiliate marketing.
I have been wanting to try this approach for some time now, and it looks like this project may actually take off. Generally I get these “great ideas,” but I just never get around to correctly implementing them.
When the site is completed, I will let you know about its release. I will keep you up to date on its progress and what steps I am taking to effectively market the site.

I’m sure most of you have already heard of the new ad format AuctionAds (aff). Basically it puts ads from eBay for products being auctioned off. This sounds like a great revenue stream for anyone that has product sites.
I am currently trying to build a product/review site myself, and I will be trying out AuctionAds on it, as well as many other revenue streams. It is important not to put all your eggs in one basket. If you can earn a few bucks on each service, over a few different services, there is a potential to make a lot of money.
If anyone has been using AuctionAds already, I would love to hear about how it is going for you.

I just noticed yesterday that RevenueQuest now has a page rank of 2. I find this odd because it just got bumped up after my month or so hiatus. I guess the lesson here is that if you think you have destroyed a blog from not posting in a while, you probably haven’t. Start posting again and see what happens. Hopefully you will have loyal visitors still subscribed to your RSS feed.

For those of you who are using WordPress for your blogs, make sure that you update to version 2.2. It looks like they added some widget support, Atom support, and a few more features. I’m not sure if there are any security updates in it.

I was just taking a look at John Chow’s blog, and I noticed that he now has 15,000 sign-ups with Agloco (aff). He also made a video of a Beta version of the viewbar that he has been given.
